Inclusively is partnering with a major airline to hire a Product Owner, Digital Experience. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

Key Responsibilities

Product Execution

  • Lead and partner with the IT squad to execute a customer-centric product vision, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Drive collaboration to deliver meaningful value through effective execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Understand the features being brought into an increment cycle which will have an impact on the product squad.
  • Socialize the impacted features with the product squad.
  • Work with the product squad to write the user stories with clear and concise acceptance criteria.
  • Actively engage in squad demo from the squad members and accept the stories based on the acceptance criteria defined.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning the intricacies of the product area, striving to gain expertise that enables you to make informed, strategic contributions to the development process.

Squad Collaboration

  • Actively participate in all squad ceremonies, including Daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and effective delivery of value.
  • Facilitate the backlog refinement meeting to collaborate with the squad members on arriving at clear and unambiguous acceptance criteria for the prioritized backlog. Splitting bigger work items into smaller ones that can be delivered in a Sprint.
  • Facilitate the sprint demos and show working software to the stakeholders to receive feedback and incorporate it in the backlog.
  • Coordinate with other Product Owners to align cross-squad efforts and maintain coherence in product development.
  • Participate in Product Owner community of practice to learn from each other's experience.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain open lines of communication with Product Managers and relevant stakeholders to review feature progress.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and Product Managers to contribute to the overarching product vision and strategy with data-driven and evidence-based ideation and iterative solutioning.

Agile Advocacy

  • Understand agile practices and promote best practices within the squad.
  • Utilize tools like Agility and Aha! for effective product management and ensure data hygiene to track progress accurately.

AI Product Readiness & Application

  • Demonstrates the ability to think forward about how AI may improve products, decisions, workflows, and customer or employee experiences.
  • Applies AI thinking in ways appropriate to the maturity of the product, team, and environment.
  • This may range from building foundational awareness and identifying practical use cases, to enabling responsible experimentation, to shaping scalable AI-enabled capabilities and broader product or ecosystem readiness.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, or similar role, in a dynamic and agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile practices and principles
  • Excellent collaboration, self-leadership, and stakeholder management skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to create clear and effective reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
