Position Overview
We Are
The company is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
- Accomplished Director of Product Management, who leads strategy and market development for Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) Multi-die IP, with a focus on 2.5D and 3D-IC technologies. You will define product direction, shape market positioning, and drive business growth across advanced testability and system-level lifecycle management solutions for chiplet-based and system-on-chip (SoC) designs.
- The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in semiconductor product management, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to align customer needs, technology innovation, and business priorities. SLM represents a significant growth opportunity for the semiconductor industry, and the company is well positioned to establish and extend market leadership in this space.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Silicon Lifecycle Management IP focused on 2.5D/3D-IC, chiplet interconnect (UCIe, D2D), and memory interfaces (DDR, LPDDR, HBM, cHBM), covering both high-volume manufacturing test and in-system lifecycle management
- Write Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that translate customer needs, competitive gaps, and technology trends into actionable product concepts for the NPI pipeline
- Review and validate Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) created by technical product managers to ensure market fit, commercial viability, and alignment with business priorities
- Engage directly with key customers across hyperscale, automotive, and mobile segments to gather feedback, understand design challenges, and shape product direction based on real-world use cases
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies including product positioning, pricing models (EDA and IP licensing), launch plans, and sales enablement materials in partnership with marketing and field teams
- Present at industry conferences and tradeshows to evangelize the SLM portfolio, establish thought leadership, and drive market awareness
- Track and analyze product performance metrics including revenue, design wins, customer adoption, and competitive displacement to inform roadmap prioritization and business planning
The Impact You Will Have
- Establish the company as the market leader in SLM IP for multi-die architectures at a time when the industry is shifting from monolithic SoCs to chiplet-based designs
- Shape how semiconductor companies approach testability and lifecycle management for 2.5D and 3D-IC systems, influencing industry standards and best practices
- Drive revenue growth by identifying high-value customer opportunities and translating them into differentiated IP products that solve real manufacturing and system-level test challenges
- Enable customers to achieve higher yield, faster time-to-market, and lower total cost of ownership by delivering testability solutions that work across the full product lifecycle
- Influence the technical direction of engineering teams by providing market-driven input that ensures what gets built actually matters to customers
- Expand the company's footprint in emerging markets like automotive functional safety (ISO 26262) and AI accelerators where multi-die architectures are becoming the norm
- Build long-term customer relationships that create stickiness and open doors for broader portfolio adoption across IP and EDA solutions
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; MS or MBA is a plus
- 15+ years in product management, business development, or technical marketing roles within the semiconductor industry, with direct exposure to design for test (DFT), memory built-in self-test (MBIST), or SoC development
- Deep working knowledge of EDA flows and BIST methodologies including RTL generation, insertion, verification, and post-silicon debug and diagnostics
- Technical understanding of CPU architectures (ARM, ARC, RISC-V), memory controllers, and interface IP PHYs, particularly DDR/LPDDR/HBM/cHBM and UCIe
- Familiarity with IEEE standards such as 1149.1 (JTAG), 1500, 1687 (IJTAG), 1838, and emerging standards like P3405, plus exposure to ISO 26262 for automotive functional safety
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical and business tradeoffs, synthesize customer input and competitive intelligence, and make data-informed decisions that balance short-term revenue with long-term strategic positioning
- Experience managing product roadmaps in a global context, working across engineering, sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders to drive alignment and execution
Who You Are
- You can walk into a technical deep-dive with a customer's DFT team, understand their test flow challenges, and walk out with a clear product gap to address
- You are comfortable presenting to VPs and C-level executives, distilling a complex competitive landscape or technical tradeoff into a clear recommendation without losing the nuance that matters
- You manage multiple moving pieces at once, keeping engineering, sales, and marketing aligned on timelines, priorities, and messaging without dropping threads or creating confusion downstream
- You treat ambiguity as a normal part of the job, not a blocker, and you know how to gather enough signal to make a decision even when perfect information does not exist
