Position Overview

This role is centered on hands-on development, solution delivery, and technical execution. You will work closely with product, design, analytics, and platform teams to turn requirements and designs into scalable, production-ready digital experiences. Rather than performing deep analytical research, this role focuses on applying AI capabilities, services, and models to real-world customer use cases. A strategic problem-solving mindset and expertise on how to use a variety of AI tools to deliver immediate value is critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement AI-enabled and rules-based features that enhance digital customer journeys across web and mobile platforms
  • Leverage AI and external Generative/Agentic AI tools to accelerate solution design, automate complex business logic, and deliver intelligent workflows for our customers.
  • Develop and integrate front-end and back-end components that support personalization, content delivery, and automation
  • Work with product managers and UX partners to translate requirements and designs into functional, scalable digital solutions
  • Integrate AI services, APIs, and platform capabilities into existing digital ecosystems
  • Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to ensure solutions are production-ready, performant, and scalable
  • Participate in deployment, monitoring, and support of digital features to ensure reliability and operational stability
  • Ensure all implementations comply with security, privacy, accessibility, architecture, and governance standards
  • Provide practical technical input on how AI and automation can be responsibly and effectively applied within digital products
  • Stay current on modern digital experience technologies, development frameworks, and AI tooling relevant to customer-facing platforms

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, technical consulting, or technical implementation roles
  • Hands-on experience with Generative/Agentic AI tools and a strong understanding of how to leverage AI in streamlining work productivity and building workflows
  • Strong understanding of modern development practices, including APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures
  • Well versed in model selection and practical experience deploying different models for various objectives based on their specific functionality including any strengths or weakness and understanding of token cost reduction
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering
  • Ability to implement technical solutions from defined requirements and designs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on execution and delivery
  • Familiarity with customer-facing platforms, content management systems, or digital experience platforms

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience building or integrating digital experiences in large-scale consumer environments such as travel or eCommerce
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployment workflows
  • Experience implementing personalization, automation, or AI-powered features using existing tools or services
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks, backend services, or full-stack development
  • Ability to guide less experienced developers on implementation patterns and AI best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible customer experience improvements through technical execution
