Job Overview
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Financial Reporting is seeking a Specialist to assist with the company's financial close, fixed assets, leases, and fleet accounting process. The successful candidate will assist with:
- Internal and External reporting processes including monthly preparation and quality control of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), internal reporting packages, and 10Q/10K disclosures
- Monthly close activities including journal entries, general ledger research, preparation of fleet summaries for leadership, capitalized interest, and internal control reporting
- Accounting for various fleet related transactions, including purchases and leases
- Coordinating with TechOps to forecast and account for fleet modifications
- Preparation and review of quarterly audit requests
- Preparation of account reconciliations
- Maintenance of the SAP general ledger and HFM consolidation system
- Ad hoc analyses and asset transacting in SAP
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The candidate should also possess a proven ability to work in a team environment and should be detail-oriented; deadline-focused, proactive, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business related field
- Licensed CPA preferred
