Inclusively is partnering with an electronic design automation company to hire a Summer 2026 User Experience Design Industrial Placement. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, and evaluate cutting-edge user interfaces for Ansys products and services.
  • Demonstrate fluency in visual design principles with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Apply a strong understanding of typography and color theory to enhance user experiences.
  • Utilize creative applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, or similar to produce high-quality mockups and assets.
  • Assess, prioritize, and address UX-focused software problems, ensuring optimal usability and satisfaction.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX/UI or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with CAD/CAE tools in any form.
  • Detail-oriented with highly developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of the software development process and ability to communicate effectively with software development teams.
  • Preferred: Completed or working toward a certificate in HCI.
  • Preferred: Experience with modeling and simulation applications; proficiency with UI implementation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
  • Ability to smoothly iterate on designs, take direction, adjust, and re-focus towards a converged design.
  • Strong communication skills for email, chat, remote meetings, and usability evaluations.
  • Ability to prototype rapidly using any available tools.
