Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the customer community and the software development life cycle teams.
  • Lead the requirements gathering process with customers, subject matter experts, and internal teams.
  • Document requirements using the appropriate level of detail for the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Clarify requirements and update use cases/user stories as needed throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Lead design review and change control meetings by setting the agenda and facilitating the discussion.
  • Create and monitor feature and bug cases in the case management system.
  • Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes that illustrate current and future workflows.
  • Write release notes for new features that will be delivered to customers.
  • Work with Software Engineers to analyze customer problems, how they relate to product strategy, and how they can be solved on a product’s roadmap.
  • Support the release management process by anticipating case-level risks.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to review test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Work with Product Support and Training teams to write product documentation as needed.
  • Participate in efforts to improve software development life cycle processes.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in information technology.

Must have work experience in

  • Translating designs into technical requirements across API and UI;
  • Designing and implementing business metrics with in the mobile native code to enable reporting;
  • Driving a development team through Test Driven Development (TDD) while building test automation to ensure quality products;
  • All agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups/Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement;
  • Content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager to manage content driven application development solutions; and
  • Working with a squad to perform root cause analysis for production issues.
