Key Responsibilities:
- As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Advanced proficiency in Apache Hadoop is required.
- Advanced proficiency in IBM Infosphere DataStage is recommended.
- Additionally, advanced proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, .NET Core, ITIL Fundamentals, and Teradata Database is suggested.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Implement best practices in software development to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers to foster a collaborative learning environment.
*Onsite 3 Days Weekly in Dallas, TX or Jersey City, NJ
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years relevant IT experience with Autosys, DataStage, Hadoop , SQL Server, Spark 3.0, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, Linux scripting, and ITIL
- Minimum 3 years of ETL batch stability including proactive job monitoring, incident management, problem management , triage, resolution, reporting and timely escalation
- Minimum 3 years of driving triage in production following code deployment to production
- Minimum 3 years of handling data quality issues and be able to create SQL's or be familiar with Linux command line file manipulation for data fixes
- Must be highly self motivated, proactive, attentive to detail, with good documentation and communication skills
- Having an ability to think of process improvements to improve stability and resiliency is also helpful
- Associate's Degree

Salary: $44.70 to $54.70/Hourly
