Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the cleaning, maintenance, and event production duties of workplace facilities employees.
- Works as a business partner with the Office Services Lead, overseeing maintenance projects and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Strong focus on hospitality and customer service
- Comfortable assisting with any workplace position and showcasing a willingness to help wherever needed
- Plan and manage operations and delivery of services
- Provide leadership, direction, development and employee supervision within the areas of responsibility
- Manage relationships with internal leadership and stakeholders
- Negotiate and execute vendor contracts
- Develop and manage contract relationships with external service providers
- Lead workgroup of 25+ to achieve the appropriate level of external, and internal customer satisfaction
- Execute/oversee the capital construction projects
- Execute/oversee the regular scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs of infrastructure and equipment
- Execute/oversee the activities required to ensure interiors are of a sufficient standard as defined by policies and standards
- Execute/oversee the purchasing, maintenance and disposal of company Workplace assets, in line with and local policy
- Execute/oversee the delivery of cleaning services within the facility, managing the relationship with the vendor and ensuring standards for cleanliness are adhered to
- Support the day to day management of a Workplace commodity
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure service standards are being met
- Receiving and prioritizing workorders while ensuring quality control
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the workplace including but not limited to, open workspaces, enclosed offices and meeting spaces, pantries, restrooms, reception areas, and receiving areas
- Conducting physical maintenance, and housekeeping inspections
- Directing general construction, installation, and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and cleanliness
- Assists in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations
- Consistently orders and maintains inventory of all necessary cleaning and maintenance products
- Be a leader of the Workplace Health and Safety/Fire Life Safety team.
- Serves as a champion for Sustainability goals.
Job Requirements:
- Requires onsite work primarily at One Manhattan West Location: 395 9th Ave, New York, NY 10001
- Flexibility for local travel throughout New York Metro to support other sites as needed
- Ability to work outside of business hours including nights, holidays, and or weekends as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospitality or customer service role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing a team of 20 or more
- Experience in power over ethernet (POE) lighting systems
- Experience with building management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers, senior leaders, and other stakeholders
Salary: $68,300 to $182,600
