What you'll be doing
- Strategic Procurement Leadership – Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives, focusing on long-term cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance optimization.
- Team Leadership & Development – Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and driving career development within the function.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management – Partner cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operational teams to integrate procurement strategies into company-wide initiatives.
- Process & Workflow Design – Lead the design and execution of procurement workflows that streamline operations while maintaining strong governance. Drive continuous improvements across procurement and key stakeholders.
- Procurement Tooling & Automation – Evaluate, implement, and optimize procurement technology solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and spend visibility.
What you should have
- 10+ years of procurement experience, with a strong emphasis on Software, Professional Services, and stakeholder management. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure negotiations would be a plus.
- 3+ years people management experience.
- Strong background in high-growth, tech, or fast-scaling environments, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving business needs.
- Excellent stakeholder management to understand stakeholder priorities and the ability to drive procurement strategy in alignment with broader business objectives.
- Expertise in designing and scaling procurement workflows and processes across multiple business units.
- Deep negotiation experience managing complex, high-value contracts from start to finish by driving planning and leading negotiations.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to assess total cost of ownership (TCO) and supplier risk.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Nice to have
- Experience implementing and optimizing procurement technology/tools that require high level change management and influence to implement.
- Background in building procurement from the ground up or leading a major transformation initiative.
Salary: $196,000 to $220,500 + equity + benefit
