Inclusively is partnering with an insurance technology company to hire a Systems Product Manager **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

What You’ll Do

  • Provides Data-Driven insights on product performance and identifies areas for improvement, demonstrating a higher level of analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Continuously expands knowledge of data products, the insurance industry, and data regulations.
  • Assists in defining problems that guide research efforts, demonstrating a deeper understanding of the product's challenges.
  • Conducts comprehensive market research and competitive benchmarking to identify customer needs or product gaps, showing a higher level of strategic thinking.
  • Performs user research and testing to understand needs and pain points, demonstrating an advanced understanding of user-centric design.
  • Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the customer value of the stories, features, or releases, and effectively communicates this, along with the product vision and value proposition, to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Synthesizes market and user data, showing advanced analytical skills.
  • Defines product requirements and specifications for one or more features or a feature area, demonstrating attention to detail and strategic thinking.
  • Leads the development and execution of product strategies for one or more features or a feature area, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Translates insights into recommendations for feature enhancements, showing strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensures feature delivery creates a connected customer journey, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work remotely or from an office.

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product, Data Analytics, or Engineering with experience in Data-Driven decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of Product Management principles, with a focus on data and analytics.
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and product enhancements.
  • Experience writing clear, detailed, and well-written user stories and defining requirements for data and APIs.
  • Experience with SQL, Data Visualization tools (looker, Tableau, Power BI, and data pipeline concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Data Analytics, Information Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines

Additionally, you may have:

  • Understanding of insurance data (policy, claims, underwriting)
  • Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to build AI-driven products.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA
