Job Description:

This Financial Analyst role will be part of the company Wealth Central Finance Analyst Team. The primary objective of the role will be to provide a broad range of financial analytics and reporting to drive improved outcomes and financial results to the broader organization.

The Role

This role is responsible for providing a variety of financial reporting and analytics to the lead directors and senior financial analysts supporting Wealth Central Finance. In addition to monthly recurring deliverables, this associate will work closely with other financial analysts to deliver ad-hoc analyses that will are critical components to drive business planning and ongoing decision making. There will be opportunities to identify, design, and implement process improvements to our financial reporting and analytics.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of professional experience in financial services
  • Professional experience in Finance with a successful track record of in financial modeling and analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with Finance partners at varying levels of the organization
  • Thorough understanding of financial concepts, methodologies, and accounting principles and how they affect business decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of comfort with data, databases, financials, and strong bias for ensuring data accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approach
  • Strong modeling skills and experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Flexible and adaptable team player

The Value You Deliver

  • Support the creation of financial reporting and analytic packages
  • Assist with consolidation of organization’s annual budget, monthly & quarterly KPIs, and other regular analysis & reporting at a detailed level
  • Maintain positive relationships with broader Wealth Finance team to coordinate multi-year plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Finding opportunities to streamline work processes to make the team more efficient and effective
