Inclusively is partnering with an electronic design automation to hire an Embedded Software Engineer. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

You will be part of the team that is designing and developing software, tools, and demonstrations of fast-changing, cutting edge, SerDes IP technologies. Working with software and hardware, you will help develop sophisticated software solutions including GUIs and APIs to enable marketing engagements and customer testing. Responsibilities would also include tool development for testing of products, data presentation and research, and report generation.

Required Skills

  • Relevant experience scripting in MATLAB, GUI development, Python, C, C++, and knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • Experience in development of complex software projects.
  • Proficiency in embedded hardware and software development and troubleshooting.
  • Impressive background in data structures and algorithms.
  • Demonstrates proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ideally has experience with version control tools.
  • Basic experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Must continue developing professional understanding and apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Has general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
  • Exercises judgment to establish appropriate actions. Implementations and solutions are reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Contacts are primarily within business unit and occasional organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $81,000 to $141,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
