We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Marketing Intern to join our dynamic events team. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, marketing, and logistics. You’ll support the coordination and execution of trade shows and events that drive brand awareness and customer engagement, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring memorable experiences to life.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and excited to dive into the fast-paced world of event marketing.

This is a paid internship based in our office, with potential to go full time, with the expectation of being on-site at least 3 days a week for close collaboration with the team.

Day in the Life

Support Event Planning & Execution

  • Assist with pre-show planning and post-show follow-up, helping to manage timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. Learn how to organize event logistics such as booth setup, shipping, and staff travel.

Event Materials & Logistics

  • Help prepare and pack materials for trade shows and events—including booths, signage, collateral, and swag. Maintain an organized inventory of event assets and ensure materials are in good condition and ready for upcoming shows.

Event Research

  • Research trade shows, conferences, and local events that align with company goals. Compile findings and recommendations to help the team evaluate future opportunities.

Marketing & Creative Support

  • Assist with the creation and coordination of event-related marketing materials, social posts, and other promotional content. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all event touchpoints.

Onsite & Day-of Support

  • When applicable, assist with event setup, registration, and on-the-ground coordination to help ensure smooth execution.

General Team Support

  • Provide administrative and project support to the events and marketing teams as needed, gaining exposure to all aspects of event marketing and project management.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable handling physical tasks such as lifting and moving materials
  • Availability to work from the office at least 3 days per week

Nice To Have

  • Coursework or experience related to marketing, communications, or event planning
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, or event management software (e.g., Cvent, ExhibitDay)
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in marketing, events, or hospitality

Salary Range

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $48,000 - $66,000 in Utah. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
