A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Dealer Engagement and Portfolio Specialist to help support their business needs.

The Dealer Engagement and Portfolio Specialist manages a national portfolio of contractual change requests across all 50 states, ensuring timely, accurate updates to dealer records and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Process dealer contractual changes in compliance with state franchise statutes and the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement (DSSA)
  • Prepare dealer contracts and program enrollment forms
  • Complete dealer activations and maintain dealer information across internal systems
  • Maintain accurate dealer contractual data within the Dealer Network Planning System (DNPS)
  • Complete the Area of Primary Responsibility (APR) notice requirements in accordance with the DSSA
  • Assist dealers with re-contracting activities and required documentation
  • Process Change Requests while ensuring compliance with franchise laws and cycle time requirements
  • Manage Change Request portfolios and provide weekly updates through the Contractual Analysis Tool (CAT)
  • Collaborate with dealers, legal teams, market analysis teams, and internal stakeholders to complete proposals and contractual activities
  • Counsel dealers and field personnel on policies, procedures, and contractual requirements
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders and attorneys regarding dealer proposals and network activities
  • Assist users with the Dealer Contractual Information Change Request (DCICR) system
  • Draft dealer correspondence, custom letters, and contractual documentation for management and legal review
  • Support execution of contractual documents through E-Signature tools
  • Maintain electronic dealer files and documentation within the Dealer Management System (DMS)
  • Conduct financial analysis and review dealer sales and profit forecasts using Excel-based reports
  • Complete dealer add-point information worksheets and support candidate background check processes
  • Provide operational support for dealer and leadership requests, including document management and communications
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and maintain training and desk procedures documentation
  • Maintain high service standards and responsiveness with dealers and internal stakeholders

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing databases and electronic records
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • High level of motivation, initiative, and ownership
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and compliance work
  • Experience with dealer contractual processes, franchise statutes, or automotive retail operations preferred
  • Familiarity with systems such as DCICR, DNPS, DMS, and E-Signature tools is preferred

Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid in Warren, MI - In office Tue-Th, work from home Mon and Fri
  • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST
