Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.

We are seeking a highly motivated Lifecycle Operations Technical Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of lifecycle infrastructure improvements that increase pipeline reliability and performance
  • Support the modernization of data integrations between internal systems and third-party marketing tools, with a focus on scalability and operational stability
  • Build and maintain automated monitoring and alerting to surface unhealthy or outdated syncs and workflows
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure improvements support real-world campaign execution needs
  • Have a strong understanding of campaigns set up and execution of workflows
  • Partner closely with Lifecycle Ops, Marketing, Data, and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with campaign execution needs
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrate flexibility to shift priorities based on evolving business and team needs, directly supporting campaign execution and template development when required

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in email marketing, campaign management, or operations
  • In-depth knowledge of technologies and processes involved with email service providers and/or marketing automation platforms
  • Experience in lifecycle operations, marketing operations, or marketing technology, with a technical emphasis
  • Experience contributing to infrastructure, systems, or data pipeline improvements, either directly or through close collaboration with engineering teams
  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity in problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Experience working with ESPs such as Iterable, Braze, or similar platforms; technical fluency or scripting experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and contributing to long-term, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience working with vendors and within a matrixed organization with creatives, engineers, analysts, marketing managers, and product teams
  • A willingness to learn and a commitment to thoughtful problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical partners

Preferred

  • Direct Iterable experience
  • Experience with customer data platforms or marketing data integrations
  • Exposure to monitoring, alerting, or operational tooling for lifecycle systems
