Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Copywriter on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in NYC.

Responsibilities
- Write creative and effective copy for subscriber email campaigns, push notifications, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
- Develop messaging aligned with campaign objectives and business partner goals
- Apply brand guidelines for tone, voice, and audience targeting across all copy projects
- Collaborate with copy editors to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy of content
- Partner with designers and marketing teams to deliver cohesive creative solutions
- Execute assigned projects independently while meeting deadlines
- Deliver error-free copy, including required legal language
- Support additional creative projects such as brand campaigns, paid social content, and key art taglines as needed
- Portfolio required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, English, creative writing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in consumer-facing copywriting, including email campaigns
- Strong knowledge of grammar, copyediting principles, and creative writing techniques
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Microsoft Suite experience
- Experience in the entertainment or media industry
- Copilot experience
