We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business problems and translate them into automated system solutions
- Lead SAP FICO configuration and design to support financial business processes
- Identify process gaps and provide technical expertise to define functional system requirements
- Scale and enhance existing systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner
- Configure system settings and application options to meet business needs
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and performance
- Design detailed system workflows and automated solutions aligned to business requirements
- Provide consultation and system guidance to business users on automated processes and tools
- Lead or support cross-functional teams to resolve business and system-related challenges
- Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide and web-enabled system solutions as applicable
- MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent financial qualification required
- 10+ years of overall professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP finance modules
- Strong expertise in SAP FICO configuration and system design
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting financial systems
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and system automation
- Ability to identify gaps and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
