We are seeking a UX Researcher on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in NYC.

We are seeking a UX Researcher on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers within an integrated product pod to develop new products
- Develop and execute research roadmaps both independently and collaboratively
- Lead research studies across all phases of the product development lifecycle, including formative, iterative design, and evaluative research
- Conduct user research to uncover latent needs and validate early product concepts
- Support product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning through research insights
- Manage external research vendors to scale research efforts and support team priorities
- Synthesize research data into actionable insights that inform product decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
- Strong expertise in research methodologies across formative, iterative, and evaluative phases
- Proven experience developing and executing research roadmaps
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to use quantitative insights to support hypotheses
- Experience contributing to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong storytelling skills to present insights and influence diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and balance competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience managing external research vendors
