Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

We are seeking a Senior SAP Supply Chain Project Manager (Logistics & Planning) on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and execute complex cross-functional supply chain transformation projects within business applications
  • Manage timelines and execution of IT projects from ideation and evaluation through implementation
  • Lead projects including new software implementations, product launch scale-ups, system upgrades, and facility expansions
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated supply chain planning program/project timelines and governance
  • Lead key SAP delivery activities as a project or delivery manager, supporting SAP ERP and advanced planning applications
  • Manage partnerships with third-party system integrators, SAP Services, and other service providers during implementation
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders on strategy, goals, resources, and timelines across Finance, Manufacturing & Operations, Infrastructure, Product Quality, Regulatory & Compliance, Field Service, and other business units
  • Organize and lead core team and executive steering committee meetings and provide status reports to project sponsors
  • Drive resolution of project constraints, conflicts, and risks that could impact delivery timelines
  • Communicate project status, critical path, dependencies, and risk areas clearly to stakeholders
  • Create and maintain project plans and assign tasks to team members to ensure delivery accountability
  • Manage project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met, including kickoff presentations, schedules, budgets, blueprints, test plans, training plans, and change management materials
  • Support organizational change management efforts including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, training content, end-user training, and adoption planning
  • Track and manage project issues and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance with internal business and quality system requirements and applicable regulatory standards

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • PMP certification required
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM) preferred
  • 7-10+ years of experience working across business and IT with strong project delivery experience
  • Proven experience in SAP lead roles such as Project Manager or Delivery Manager
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and advanced planning applications preferred
  • Supply chain domain exposure across logistics/delivery, planning, manufacturing, and procurement
  • Experience managing third-party implementation partners, including system integrators and SAP Services
  • Strong project governance, timeline management, and execution skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Jira
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • 8+ years of experience leading major cross-functional projects in manufacturing operations preferred
  • Medical device industry experience preferred
  • People leadership or supervisory experience preferred
