Tech Square Ventures is an Atlanta-based early-stage venture capital firm. We invest in visionary entrepreneurs building the future of enterprise and accelerate innovation through our Engage corporate innovation and enterprise startup accelerator program. By combining capital with access to customers, markets, and expertise, we help founders grow faster and scale smarter. Together, we form one of the Super South’s most active early-stage venture firms.
Our name originates from Technology Square in Midtown Atlanta, adjacent to Georgia Tech’s campus, with the highest density of startups, corporate innovation centers, and academic researchers in the Super South. This intersection of community, connectivity, collaboration, and innovation is not only our address – it’s the fundamental distillation of who we are.
We believe integrity and innovation go hand in hand and financial returns are an outcome of portfolio company success. Our commitment to our core values of Service and Stewardship is fundamental to who we are.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team as a force multiplier for our dynamic and growing venture firm. In this role, you’ll work directly with the Managing Partner, taking ownership of key initiatives, supporting firm operations and investment activities, and leading special projects — all while ensuring calendars, communications, and logistics run smoothly. This is a doer’s role that combines operations, executive support, and analytical work, and is only limited by the initiative and capability you bring to the table. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants a front‑row seat to the venture and startup ecosystem in the Super South and beyond.
- Drive follow‑through: Track and manage follow‑ups from meetings with founders, investors, and partners, making sure commitments turn into results.
- Keep priorities moving: Manage the Managing Partner’s calendar, inbox priorities, and key meeting logistics.
- Communicate with clarity: Draft communications, reports, investment memos, portfolio updates, and presentations.
- Coordinate across relationships: Serve as a connector between internal stakeholders, founders, investors, and partners to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
- Champion strategic initiatives: Drive successful Annual General Meetings, ecosystem‑building efforts, strategic projects, and new platform initiatives and operational improvements.
- Own operations tasks and projects: Take on firm operations tasks like event coordination, office management, reporting, communications, portfolio updates, fund administration support, and internal tooling (including CRM and data tracking).
- Assist with investments: Research companies, markets, and trends to support investment sourcing and diligence; interact with founders during diligence—gathering data, synthesizing insights, and keeping processes on track; assist with investment memos, presentations, and portfolio updates. Financial modeling experience is a plus.
This is a 2-year program role and high performers will have the potential for advancement to other investment or operating roles within the firm. This role is Atlanta-based and requires working from our Midtown office and representing TSV at ecosystem events.
