As Corporate Accounting Director, you will oversee all aspects of corporate accounting and financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements while supporting the organization’s continued growth. The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise, a strong understanding of systems, and a focus on continuous improvement, combined with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage the monthly close, delivering timely, accurate financial reporting.

  • Streamline and enhance reporting processes to drive efficiency and consistency.

  • Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and account analyses.

  • Act as a technical accounting expert (leases, revenue recognition, capitalized software, fixed assets), providing strategic guidance on complex matters.

  • Direct the annual audit process, managing deliverables and resolving accounting issues.

  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and footnote disclosures.

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights that inform strategy and performance.

  • Develop and implement scalable accounting policies, procedures, and systems to support growth.

  • Champion process improvements and system automation across the finance organization.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and career development.

  • Collaborate with leadership on initiatives to optimize working capital, control costs, and improve profitability.

  • Oversee tax compliance in partnership with external advisors.

  • Manage special projects and other ad hoc priorities from senior leadership.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.

  • Success in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Proficiency with financial systems (NetSuite required).

  • Exceptional communication skills with strong executive presence.

  • Strategic thinker with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Bonus Points:

  • CPA license

  • Public Accounting experience (Big Four or national firm)

  • M&A or high-growth company experience.
