The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in driving Pryon's financial strategy and decision-making processes. This position is responsible for leading corporate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
The Director of FP&A will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing insights and recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee financial analysis, capital allocation, and performance tracking while ensuring the scalability of financial processes in a high-growth environment.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead and enhance the company’s financial planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Partner with business stakeholders in strategic analyses, including developing business cases, benchmarks, pricing, and other data-driven analyses
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making on investments, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.
- Oversee corporate financial reporting and partner with key stakeholders to drive process improvements and standardization.
- Prepare and present financial materials for senior leadership, investor relations, and the Board of Directors.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against goals, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead the preparation of Monthly Operating Reviews for executive leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Drive automation and optimization of financial reporting processes, leveraging advanced analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning to ensure optimal working capital and financial flexibility.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Extensive Financial Expertise: 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and drive financial strategies in a high-growth or SaaS environment.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario planning, and business case development.
- Executive Communication: Strong ability to synthesize complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Experience leading financial reporting processes and driving operational efficiencies across finance functions.
- Technology Proficiency: Advanced Excel and financial planning tools experience; familiarity with BI software, ERP systems, and SaaS metrics is a plus.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with business leaders, investors, and department heads to align financial goals with company strategy.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous learning and innovation.
