About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer to help build the future of our HR technology platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to design, develop, and maintain scalable, user-friendly applications that power seamless offboarding experiences for our customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow their technical skills, work on impactful projects, and make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Participate in code reviews, sharing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve code quality.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and propose ways to improve our platform, tools, and processes.

  • Contribute to internal documentation, testing strategies, and engineering best practices.

  • Develop automated regression tests protecting customer experiences and Product expectations

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Languages & Frameworks: Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and one or more modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Node.js).

  • Databases: Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

  • Foundational Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for building quality software.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, agile environment.

  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, experiment, and grow as a software engineer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of professional experience in software development.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and experience building scalable, secure applications.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, or DevOps practices.
