About the role
Nok is expanding its international footprint from North America into the Chinese market. This position is at the forefront of this expansion.
As the Head of Sales - China at Nok, you will identify and lead sales engagements with Chinese companies that are explicitly seeking to expand into North America and Europe. You are expected to be a trusted advisor to our clients, addressing their strategic and logistical needs from the initial engagement through ongoing account management. You will lead the development and execution of sales strategies to win new business and craft pricing structures and proposals to meet the client needs and ensure a high proposal win rate. As a Head of Sales, your insight into client needs and your relationships with client decision-makers will be critical to setting company revenue targets and ensuring we meet those goals.

Additionally, as the Client’s first contact with Nok, you will establish the expectations of trust and competence that serve as the baseline for a long-term partnership.
You are Responsible for:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand nok's market presence in China.
Identify and engage potential clients, including major brands and retailers, to promote nok's reverse logistics and resale services.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Lead negotiations and close deals with key clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Nok.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Proactively manage customer expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Qualifications
Willingness and excitement to travel both domestically within China and internationally to maximize performance
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Proven track record of successful sales leadership, preferably in the logistics, supply chain, or resale industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate B2B environment, with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Detail-oriented with an owner mentality - you dot your i’s and cross your t’s, and make sure others involved in your project do as well!
Excellent communication skills with all levels, especially when it comes to clear and concise email
Ability to upsell new offerings to existing and prospective clients
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
