As a key leader, you’ll translate high-level concepts into actionable strategies and impactful algorithms for our innovative web, desktop, and mobile apps.

Role Summary

As the Principal AI Engineer, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop, execute, and deliver a strategic roadmap for AI solutions. Your responsibilities will include hands-on work in data analysis, pipeline development, optimization, and technical leadership. As the most senior AI engineer, you’ll also spearhead the growth of this division within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the AI group and define methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to create and drive the strategic roadmap.
• Analyze cost/benefit for new AI projects, identifying tradeoffs for maximum ROI.
• Develop AI/data pipelines using Python (with backend team support for deployment).
• Be creative, and stay on top of AI advancements to enhance our products.
• Provide technical leadership within the team and across organizations around AI/ML.
• Create and refine deliverables from ideation to implementation.
• Mentor and elevate other engineers.
  
  

Education

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, preferably with a specialization in AI.
  
  

Experience

• 7+ years in an engineering lead capacity.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with information storage/retrieval using vector databases.
• Proven expertise with LLMs and Deep Learning systems.
• Preference for deploying AI or ML models in a production environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Ability to stay updated on the latest AI research and methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
