About you
The Itential Marketing Team is the central nucleus for our entire company and plays a key role in generating demand and driving revenue. We are a close-knit team that has created something truly special in the network automation market.
The ideal Marketing Design Intern will dive headfirst into the creative side of tech marketing. If you’re passionate about design, have a hunger to learn, and are excited by the idea of turning complex technical ideas into bold, beautiful visuals — this might be the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career.
You have a curious mindset and can manage multiple concurrent projects with fast-moving schedules and multiple stakeholders. You are highly self-motivated, accountable, proactive, and thoughtful with high attention to detail.
What you'll get to do in this role
As our Design Intern, you’ll work closely with a tight-knit, high-energy team of marketers who love what they do and are always looking for new ways to innovate. You’ll get hands-on experience across a variety of projects, including:
- Collaborating with our marketing team to support campaigns, product launches, events, and social media initiatives.
- Designing digital content like social graphics, event signage, web images, and presentation decks – and always looking for new and engaging ways to visually communicate our message across these mediums.
- Exploring opportunities to infuse interactivity or motion design (GIFs, short animations) into our content.
- Designing engaging user experiences for our website that connects back to current marketing initiatives.
- Helping to create visuals and diagrams that make technical concepts easy to understand (and nice to look at).
- Working with SME to create visually appealing and easily comprehended presentations.
- Building and refining branded assets that bring consistency and personality to everything we publish.
- Participating in team meetings, creative reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Assisting in organizing and maintaining our design asset library (icons, logos, templates, etc.).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support internal design needs as they arise.
To be successful in this role
- Currently pursuing a degree (or recent graduate) in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
- A self-starter who takes initiative and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.
- Interested in dabbling in motion graphics or animation (Bonus if you already have, but not required!).
