ICON is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for our Engineering and Technology teams through the end of 2025. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and is passionate about identifying top technical talent to help shape the future of construction technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and engineering positions, including Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Robotics, and Systems roles.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and the People team to define job requirements, align on ideal candidate profiles, and deliver an efficient and inclusive hiring process.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates using a mix of proactive sourcing strategies and inbound applicant management.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage communication between candidates and interview teams to ensure a seamless and professional experience.
  • Extend and negotiate offers in collaboration with the People team, ensuring alignment with ICON’s compensation and equity philosophy.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and hiring activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates and hiring insights to managers and leadership, contributing to data-driven recruiting decisions.
  • Support recruiting operations initiatives such as process improvements, interview calibration, and talent pipeline development for key technical disciplines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with demonstrated success in technical or engineering recruitment.
  • Strong sourcing and assessment skills with experience attracting top talent across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions while maintaining a high level of candidate and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience using Greenhouse or a similar ATS.
  • Prior recruiting experience in high-growth startups or hardware-focused industries (robotics, aerospace, manufacturing, construction technology).
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, or HireEZ.
  • Understanding of recruiting metrics, funnel analytics, and compliance best practices.
