Role Overview:

Gridline is opening up the market for private market investors to build a truly diversified portfolio of top-notch investment opportunities.  As such, we're looking for a Business Development Associate to join our rapidly growing team and focus on this strategic component of our go-to-market strategy. 

You will leverage your cold calling and/or lead generation experience to communicate with potential Gridline members via phone, emails, and LinkedIn to develop an interest in our platform and our investment products.


  • Educate the market about the opportunity to get access to the best fund managers in the world by emailing and cold-calling prospects you source with the help of a powerful internal marketing engine.

  • Together with our marketing team, capture the attention of targeted groups of accredited investors across the US by creating and deploying campaigns designed to educate and engage them on the massive opportunity for value creation on our platform.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed a given monthly quota.

  • Manage prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in Hubspot and Salesloft.

  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.


  • 2+ years of sales or sales development experience in a fast paced software or financial services environment.

  • A strong 'hunter' mentality. Self motivated, ambitious and creative in evangelizing the Gridline platform.

  • Passionate about a career in Fintech, SaaS or technical platform sales.

  • Quantitative track record of exceptional performance and a strong professional trajectory.

  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to develop business in new and existing accounts.

  • A motivated, driven and self-starting attitude.

  • Must be able to thrive in a changing environment while you continue to stay optimistic, organized and coachable.

  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.

  • Excellent time management skills and a high degree of organization.

  • History of learning new tools and have the ability to pick up new things quickly

  • Experience with Hubspot is a plus.

  • Familiarity with online real-time engagement via chat and video a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
