We're looking for an entrepreneurial senior backend engineer to join our team to help us grow our consumer insights platform as well as contribute to our company culture. This person will be tasked with bringing our awesome product and company goals to life, and getting the opportunity to engineer solutions for a very diverse and prestigious group of customers. He/she will be collaborating and working closely with a team of engineers that takes individually contributing and celebrating individual/company goals very seriously.

Qualifications:

6+ years experience in software design, development, testing, and implementation
JavaScript / TypeScript proficiency
Experience managing/building Node.js REST API’s
Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema definitions and migrations

Nice to haves:

Understanding of the Google Cloud Platform or maintaining core infrastructure in any cloud monitoring service
Understanding of monitoring deployed applications using tools like Datadog and Sentry
React Native experience

Responsibilities:

Write, maintain, and update code on all levels of user-facing applications written in a modern Javascript technology stack
Designing, planning, and collaborating with a team of Engineers on code and architecture features
Picking up on ways the core systems/applications can be improved and taking initiative in getting these improvements accomplished and deployed to production
Contribute in writing unit/integration tests
Supporting major features you’ve built with our Customer Success team
