AdPipe — AI Engineer

Creative Understanding, Capabilities & Evaluation

Level: Senior

Location: Remote (US). Atlanta office optional.

Reports to: Head of AI

THE ROLE

AdPipe is a Creative Intelligence platform that shows brands why their ads work. We use computer vision to break down real footage, pair that analysis with performance data, and identify the messaging and creative choices that move the needle. For brands like UPS, Coca-Cola, and Hilton, that means clearer answers, better creative decisions, and a faster path to scaling what performs.

You'll be joining a small product team that transforms performance data and creative analysis into insights brands can actually use. That means building new ways to surface what's working, what's wearing out, and what should happen next. Some weeks, you might be extending our MCP capabilities; other weeks, you might be developing ways to identify fatigued ads, uncover repeatable creative patterns, or turn messy performance signals into simple, high-confidence recommendations. Your work will sit at the intersection of data, creative, and product, and it will directly shape how some of the world's biggest brands make creative decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Build and own MCP servers and tooling that expose our creative understanding capabilities to both internal and external services.

- Develop the evaluation systems behind those capabilities: datasets, scoring, regression tests, and dashboards that quantify quality.

- Run research spikes on open questions in creative understanding and turn what you learn into shipped capabilities.

- Design agentic workflows that turn footage and performance data into real understanding of why creative works.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Strong software engineering. You write clean, production code and own systems end to end.

- Hands-on fluency with LLMs and agentic systems, including how they fail and how to catch it, with strong opinions about context management.

- Experience with MCP servers, agent tooling, or LLM evaluation, or the ability to ramp on them fast.

- A researcher's instinct paired with a builder's bias. You can scope a spike, learn fast, and ship the result.

- A measurement mindset. You do not call something done until you can show it works.

HOW TO APPLY

Send tom@adpipe.com a short note on something you built or a question you dug into, and what it proved. That matters more to us than a long resume.
