Why AdPipe

Video is hard; we’re making it easy. Fresh off a $12M Series A, AdPipe is further investing in our AI‑powered video platform, already used by some of the most respected marketing organizations in the world, to repurpose existing, authentic content into new engaging videos, fast. We help creative teams work smarter and empower every marketer to ship high‑quality video without having to learn the ins and outs of an NLE.

At the core of our platform sits:

  • A high‑throughput ingestion pipeline that indexes large media libraries for search and AI automation.
  • An in‑browser video editor that interfaces with both users and AI.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the next generation of our AI‑powered video platform. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and design to ship high-quality features, improve system reliability, and help shape our technical direction as we grow. Because you’ll be pushing the limits of video + AI tooling, you’ll never be short on challenging problems to solve.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and ship features across our entire stack using Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres, Javascript/TypeScript, Python.
  • Collaborate with product and design to translate ideas and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues across the stack (from UI down to the database).
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
  • Help improve our tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and development processes.
  • Monitor production systems and contribute to performance, reliability, and security improvements.
  • Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement

Qualifications: what you likely bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Languages/Frameworks: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Elixir, Python, Go, Ruby, Java, etc.) and one modern web framework.
  • Databases: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic data modeling.
  • Quality Mindset: Comfort with testing, debugging, and working in a code review–driven environment
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teammates
  • Ownership: You take initiative, own projects end-to-end, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with our stack or similar technologies: Elixir or other functional programming languages. Extra bonus points for production experience with Phoenix/LiveView
  • Background working with video, on the backend (FFMPEG) or on the frontend (WebCodecs API).

How We Work

  • Our team is Remote-first, though with an office in Atlanta
  • Collaborative culture with regular code reviews, pair programming when useful, and open technical discussions.
  • Always shipping: CI/CD
  • Every member of the team is encouraged to influence the product

Compensation & benefits

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
  • Flexible PTO, Parental Leave, remote‑first culture
  • Location/visa: USA - not able to sponsor visa at this time

Our commitment

We’re an equal‑opportunity employer. We welcome teammates from all backgrounds and encourage candidates who don’t meet every single bullet to apply: skills grow, curiosity and ownership matter.
