Driver Support & Dispatch Agent

Full-Time (30+ hours/week)

About the Role

As a Driver Support & Dispatch Agent, you will be at the center of our daily operations. You will coordinate closely with drivers, customers, and facility partners across multiple markets to ensure pickups and deliveries run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping things moving behind the scenes. You will manage routes, troubleshoot real-time issues, communicate clearly across teams, and help deliver a great experience to everyone you interact with.

What You’ll Do

  • Support pickup and delivery drivers by phone and message, troubleshooting issues such as building access, delivery instructions, app errors, or damaged bags
  • Communicate with customers, internal teams, and facility partners to resolve delays and service issues
  • Document calls, decisions, and outcomes in Zendesk and Slack to maintain visibility and continuity across teams
  • Monitor, adjust, and occasionally build driver routes using our in-house dispatch tools
  • Partner with Support and Operations teams to identify trends, share insights, and improve processes
  • Review and explain performance metrics related to dispatch and driver support
  • Help create and maintain training materials for drivers and facility teams related to dispatch workflows
  • Assist with logistics-related tickets by gathering details and supporting resolution efforts

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in dispatch, driver support, logistics, or a related operational support role
  • Strong communication skills and comfort handling real-time issues
  • High attention to detail with the ability to document clearly and consistently
  • Comfort working across multiple tools and systems

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working as a delivery driver
  • Customer-facing or frontline operations experience
  • Prior experience on a support or dispatch team
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zendesk, and Notion
