As the VP of Marketing for Verusen, you will lead all aspects of our marketing efforts to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy, managing a team, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear and data-driven marketing strategy that aligns with Verusen's growth objectives.
  • Set clear marketing goals and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, including hiring, training, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and creative environment within the marketing department. Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and track individual and team performance.
  • Shape and maintain Verusen's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Develop and execute brand awareness campaigns to enhance the reputation and visibility in the industry.
  • Lead the development of high-quality content that engages and educates the target audience.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and other content assets.
  • Implement a content distribution strategy to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Optimize the company's online presence to drive inbound traffic and conversion.
  • Track and analyze digital marketing performance to make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop product marketing strategies. Communicate the value and benefits of our software products to the target market.
  • Create and maintain product marketing collateral.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance, using data to make informed decisions. Provide regular updates to the executive team on marketing initiatives, results, and ROI.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role in a B-round or later-stage software startup.
  • Strong knowledge of software and SaaS marketing strategies.
  • Supply Chain knowledge is preferred
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
