Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and community-obsessed marketer to lead all things events and community at Rainforest. From our own conference (Vertex) and industry events to internal gatherings, you’ll be the driver behind growing Rainforest’s footprint within vertical software and fintech — online and IRL.
What are some of the high-impact opportunities you’ll tackle?

Event Strategy & Execution
Plan, manage, and execute our own branded conference (Vertex). Across the recruitment/coordination of sponsors and speakers, handling logistics, promoting the event and organizing VIP activations, you will be the driving force behind molding Vertex into a hugely valuable asset for Rainforest.
Own our presence at third party conferences and tradeshows. This includes the logistics, coordination with Sales on tactical execution and pre/post-campaigns.
Create event playbooks, budgets, and reporting processes that help our events channel scale and map all activities to our broader Marketing goals of driving awareness of the Rainforest brand and qualified pipeline for the Sales team.

Community Building
Build and manage a Rainforest owned community that attracts and drives ongoing engagement across the vertical software and payments spaces.
Create surprise-and-delight moments that enhance brand loyalty and visibility.
Launch digital or hybrid efforts that extend the community beyond event walls.

The Rainforest Internal Community & Operations (Atlanta HQ)
Help as needed with the day-to-day office operations and creation of a great in-office experience for employees and visitors
Support internal team-building events and seasonal celebrations.
Partner with People Ops to make the Atlanta HQ a hub for innovation and ensure smooth onboarding of all new Rainforest hires.
This opportunity is for you if you have / are:
3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or community roles (startup or tech preferred)
A builder mindset — you love starting from zero and bringing ideas to life
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage the expectations of various internal and external stakeholders
Highly organized with a track record of owning complex projects from strategy to execution
A warm communicator who thrives in people-centric roles
Familiar with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or similar tools
Able to frequently work from an office environment in Atlanta (Buckhead), with some additional out of town travel required
